David Maxson is Senior Director of Interactive Marketing at Avery Products Corporation. David has over 20 years of web and digital experience and currently manages digital strategy, digital product management, user experience design, analytics and software development. While at Avery David has also been responsible for omnichannel marketing strategy, email marketing, search marketing, social media, the consumer contact center and creative content production.
Before joining Avery, David spent several years at IBM’s Retail and Distribution Consulting practice helping clients such as Gap, REI, Nestle and the U.S. Department of Commerce. David then joined Macys.com as Executive Producer where his responsibilities included online and cross-channel consumer experience, site conversion, site business operations and digital product management. After Macys.com, David joined Gateway Computer as Web Director for Gateway.com and eMachines.com. His responsibilities included consumer experience, analytics & site conversion, creative content production and digital product management.
David holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
