Alberto Viotto leads Digital Marketing at Thomson Reuters as senior member of marketing executive staff of the Legal Business Unit. His organization is responsible for building, executing and optimizing digital experiences through customer-focused, data-driven research, design, content development and delivery activities. Alberto also oversees the spearhead project aimed to create a new channel for selling Thomson Reuters products through digital channels.
Alberto brings more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing for consumer and enterprise businesses. Previously, he served as Senior Director for Web Marketing and Strategy at DocuSign, where he was instrumental in launching the new digital brand for the company and led the effort to personalize customer experience. He also served in many positions at Microsoft for a total of 19 years, where he had the role of Director of Global Digital Marketing for microsoft.com. In that position, he coordinated online marketing activities related to launch of major products like Windows 7 and 10, Office 365 and others, exposing marketing campaigns to more than 300 million customers visiting Microsoft web sites every month.
Previously to moving to the United Stated, Alberto worked in his native Italy as Digital Marketing Manager for Microsoft’s Italian Subsidiary and in other roles in the ICT industry. He earned a MS degree in Computer Science Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. He currently lives in Washington State with his wife and three daughters.
